ABOUT THE PROJECT

LIAISE is an Erasmus+ project based on the principle and imperative need to preserve linguistic diversity and safeguard minority languages, as advocated by European and international organisations.

The project’s implementation will enact measures that promote, protect, and revitalise regional and minority languages and dialects. The project’s materials, such as educational resources, cultural productions and online platforms, will be available in those minor languages, enhancing their visibility in public life.

This will enable the creation and fostering of inclusive societies where linguistic and cultural diversity is supported and celebrated.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The project’s goals align with the general objectives of cultural and linguistic preservation, social cohesion and the promotion of mutual understanding among diverse communities.

The specific objectives of the LIAISE project are:

1. Promote the linguistic diversity and inclusion both in school environments and the societ

2. Enhance multilingual education, with a focus on endangered minority languages and dialects

3. Develop multilingual and accessible resources for teachers and educators

4. Support civic engagement and active participation of linguistically and culturally marginalised groups

5. Raise awareness about issues connected to linguistic minorities and their visibility in everyday social and educational life.

6. Ensure equal access to education for every student, no matter their cultural and/or linguistic background.

7. Empower communities to celebrate and promote linguistic diversity.
